Team Leader Flight Watch OMC

The Operational Management Centre (OMC) Flight Watch is responsible for supporting the OMC Duty Manager in maintaining the integrity of vietjetair’s’ schedule.

The schedule management incorporates the coordination of crew, fleet and ground handling as well as managing the aircraft limitations and disrupt activities including weather, disrupt and contingency planning.

The Team Leader Flight Watch will act as a key liaison to he OMC Duty Manger,Ground Operations, MCC, Customer Care and all relevent department 

The role also plays a key role in contributing to the overall ‘Customer Experience’.

Job Description

Coordination of the Daily Flying Operation

•  Manage the continual input of flight data into the Day of Operations systems;

• Maintain continual and clear communications with all departments;

• Ensure all Voyage Reports are received and entered into the flight logs;

• Ensure clear communication channels with all external contractors; _

• Consult with vietjetair MCC regarding fleet limitations prior to tail allocation for overnight parking requirements;

• Provide reporting and other relevant data to various internal departments;

• Provide communication to Crewing Officers, Duty Managers & Customer Care regarding any changes due to operational disruption;

• Prepare a daily handover, maintain daily operations log we

Communication

• Liaison with the Ground Operations, Commercial and all relevnet departments within OMC

• Ensure the Duty Manager and OMC Manager are updated on abnormal operational situations.

Disruption Management

• Under direction from the Duty Manager, assist with the recovery plan for significant disruptions and returning the network to its scheduled timings as soon as practical;

• Ensure all implemented plans best meet Safety/Company and Operational compliance

requirements with minimal on-flow affects to customers. Compliance

• Compliance across all company policies and procedures;

Emergency Assessment and Response

• Assist as directed by the Duty Manager or OMC Manager with the Emergency Response

• Plan in an abnormal situation.

Job Requirement

Education: BA

Experience level - minimum 3 years

English proficiency level- minimum IELTS 6.5
