  • First Officer A320/A321

    Kind of contract: This is a flight crew leasing role for an initial 2-year contract. This is a renewable contract where Vietjet encourage pilots to stay longer and have yearly pay increments available to facilitate an enduring relationship.

    Career progression: There is great opportunity for career progression within Vietjet. For First Officers a Command Upgrade is possible after 3 recurrent SIM sessions (1 of which is the SIM at assessment). 

    The standard roster: Vietjet understands the importance of having a good work-life balance and offer a choice of commuting rosters:

    3 weeks on, 1 week off   -OR-   6 weeks on, 2 weeks off  

    Accommodation: Accommodation at home base during the contract period is the responsibility of each pilot however Vietjet will provide 10 days’ accommodation upon arrival to Vietnam for start of contract and accommodation will of course be provided at all layover stations.

    Travel Benefits: Vietjet shall ensure that all pilots and their qualified family members shall have access to airline staff travel (SFC) right after signing date of service in accordance with staff travel policy.

  • AGENCY - Pilot Service Provider

    Quantity: Salary: Based on Contract Agreement

    If you want to become a pilot service provider for Vietjet Air, following requirements must be met:

    1. Proposal of Service
    2. Valid Business License verifying that you are a Pilot Service Provider
    3. Document that verifies that you have at least 1 year experience as a Pilot Service Provider
    4. Document that verifies that at least 3 Airlines are using your service
    5. Recommendation Letter from at least 2 Airlines attesting that you are a credible Pilot Service Provider
    6. Recommendation Letter from at least 2 Airlines attesting that you are actively providing at least 20 experienced Pilots for their company


  • Cadet Line Training Program

    1. A320F Type rating certificate recognized by the CAAV

    2. CPL certificate recognized by the CAAV

    3. Frozen ATPL recognized by the CAAV

    A. General requirements

    • 18 to 40 years of age
    • Completed high school education or higher
    • Minimum height of 160cm (F) / 165cm (M)
    • Good visual acuity of at least 6/60 without optical aid, correctable to 6/6 and not colour blind.
    • Curriculum vitae
    • VJ Training Record template (Attached)
    • Passport copy (with at least 1 year validity)
    • Criminal record (with at least 6 months validity)

    B. Education attainment requirements

    • Completed high school education or higher

    C. Documentary and Licensing requirements

    • Copy of Logbook
    • IR certificate
    • MCC certificate
    • With an English proficiency certificate of ICAO level 4
    • With a class 1 Medical Certificate recognized by the CAAV
    • With a Type rating certificate recognized by the CAAV
    • With a Frozen ATPL certificate recognized by the CAAV
    • With a Valid Commercial Pilot License
    • With a minimum total flight training time of 200 hours (Original and Copy of logbook)
